We’ve spent the past decade delving into Le Marche winemaking and believe its strength lies in its diversity – of grapes, styles, methods and ideas, which differ from town to town and winery to winery.
The wines you’ll find at Marcanteca are thoughtfully curated, and represent the breadth and quality of the region’s production. We provide several ways to experience Le Marche’s wine in Marcanteca’s shop, tasting room, wine club and wine tours. We also offer a range of custom services, from bespoke events and corporate hospitality to sommelier and consultation services.

Marcanteca is run by husband-and-wife team Giorgio and Catherine, Giorgio is from Le Marche, born and raised in Recanati, and Catherine is from London, where they lived together for over ten years.
Catherine is a Certified Sommelier, and they hold several other professional wine qualifications from internationally recognised bodies, including the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. They have more than 35 years of combined experience in the global design, arts & culture industries, and are fierce champions of personal experiences that respect local knowledge.
